What is Individual Therapy?
Personalized Care for Your Unique Journey
Individual psychotherapy provides a confidential, supportive space to work one-on-one with a doctoral-level clinician who specializes in your specific concerns. At Summit Psychotherapy Center, we tailor evidence-based treatments to your unique goals, challenges, and strengths. Whether you’re navigating trauma, managing anxiety and depression, or working through relationship difficulties, our collaborative approach helps you understand patterns that keep you stuck, process difficult emotions, and take meaningful steps toward the life you want to live.

What to Expect in Individual Therapy?
Your Therapy Journey
We offer a complimentary phone consultation to discuss your concerns and determine if our practice is a good fit for your needs and goals.
Your first few sessions focus on understanding your challenges, exploring your goals, and collaboratively developing a personalized treatment plan.
Weekly 45–50-minute sessions (some specialized treatments require 90 minutes) where you work with your therapist using evidence-based approaches tailored to your needs.
Evidence-based treatments typically range from 16-20 sessions, though complex issues may benefit from longer treatment. We continuously monitor progress and adjust our approach to ensure you’re moving toward your goals.
