About Jasmine
Dr. Dobbs-Marsh provides individual, Couples, and family therapy to adults with relationship conflict, depression, anxiety, trauma, and emotion dysregulation. She takes a collaborative, science-backed, dynamic approach to therapy, weaving in evidence-based techniques (DBT, CBT, PE, Structural Family Therapy) to help you develop tools and experiment with new strategies to create meaningful change. Her active, relational stance supports you in understanding the patterns keeping you stuck and creating new paths to move toward a life (and relationship) in line with your values.
In addition to her work at Summit Psychotherapy Center, Dr. Dobbs-Marsh is a Clinical Associate Professor at Stanford University, where she directs the DBT Couples & Family Program and is a founding member of the specialized Stanford DBT-Trauma Program. Her expertise in high-conflict Couples and family work has garnered recognition across California with invitations to speak at UCSF, UCLA, Kaiser East Bay, Bay Area Trauma Recovery Services, and Veteran’s Affairs systems throughout California. She is routinely sought out for consultation and cross-institutional collaboration by academic medical systems and private institutions and she has provided program development, faculty and clinician training and consultation; and organizational systems guidance to help programs develop their own high conflict Couples and family interventions within outpatient, intensive outpatient, and residential systems at The Camden Center San Francisco, The Camden Center Los Angeles, and the DBT Clinic at VA Pacific Islands.
Outside of work, she enjoys finding ways to get out of her mind and into an embodied life – delighting in yoga, strength training, running, dancing, coastal hikes, and cooking (and sharing) delicious food with her family and friends.
