About
I am a licensed clinical psychologist in the state of California (PSY 32910) providing individual psychotherapy via Telehealth, currently accepting new patients.

I provide individual psychotherapy to adults with a variety of presenting problems including depression, anxiety, trauma, and relationship difficulties. My style tends to focus on acceptance and getting in touch with emotions, while simultaneously facing fears and taking action steps towards your values, all at the service of living a more rich and fulfilling life.

I am a certified provider of Prolonged Exposure and Cognitive Processing Therapy. I also specialize in other evidenced-based psychotherapies including Dialectical Behavior Therapy-Prolonged Exposure, Dialectical Behavior Therapy for Complex PTSD, Written Exposure Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.
In addition to my work at Summit Psychotherapy Center, I am a Clinical Assistant Professor at the Stanford Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences working in the PTSD, DBT, and general outpatient clinics. At Stanford, I contributed to the development of our DBT Trauma Program, and I am an active member on that team providing DBT-Prolonged Exposure and DBT for Complex PTSD. I also developed and currently direct the triage, assessment, and treatment matching in our DBT Clinic. Additionally, I am currently a study therapist on a CPT research study at Palo Alto University for people with co-morbid PTSD and BPD.
Outside of work, I enjoy the outdoors and spending time with my dog, who might occasionally make an appearance on camera.
