About
I am a licensed clinical psychologist in the state of California (PSY 32048) and a Clinical Assistant Professor at Stanford University School of Medicine. I provide teletherapy for individuals, couples, and families. My approach is collaborative, integrating evidence-based treatments within a person-centered approach.
Each person is a unique constellation informed by their cultural, familial, and social experiences. And yet, it can sometimes be difficult to see, understand, and overcome the obstacles that keep you stuck in pain and distress. I see my role as a supportive presence in your journey, helping you draw on your strengths to chart a path forward. My approach is collaborative, emotion-focused, interpersonally-oriented, and culturally adapted. I couple these values with cutting-edge evidence-based techniques that provide you with the tools to move courageously toward the life you want to live.

I specialize in treating adults, adolescents, couples, and families working to navigate life in the context of trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, and challenges related to identity. My work with couples and families takes a transactional approach, recognizing that each person contributes to a family's relational strengths and challenges, and collaborative work can help families move through stuck points together.
In addition to my work at Summit Psychotherapy Center, I provide individual, group, and couple and family therapy through Stanford University's Comprehensive DBT Program, where I direct the DBT Couple and Family Program and serve as a founding member of the DBT Trauma Services Clinic. I also collaborate with teams at The Camden Center San Francisco and The Camden Center Los Angeles to develop DBT Couple and Family Treatment programming within their Comprehensive DBT Intensive Outpatient and Partial Hospitalization Programs.
