About

I am a clinical psychologist licensed in California (PSY34656). I provide teletherapy to individual adults (18+) and couples. My approach integrates evidence-based treatment principles, tailored to meet the needs and goals of my clients.

I aim to bring a warm and collaborative approach to my work with clients. I believe that a strong therapeutic relationship between therapist and client is essential for doing the work of therapy. Depending on your goals, we will use tools pulled from evidence-based treatments including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Emotionally-Focused Therapy (EFT), mindfulness, and more. I strive to bring your unique strengths, values, and identities into our shared work.

Prior to joining Summit, I worked within hospital and academic medical center settings, including the Veterans Affairs (VA) healthcare system, the Stanford University School of Medicine, the Military Family Center at NYU Langone Health, and the University of Wisconsin-Madison Department of Psychiatry.

In these roles, I provided general psychotherapy to diverse couples and individuals dealing with a range of concerns including anxiety, mood, trauma-related, sleep, and obsessive-compulsive disorders. I also have specialized training in perinatal mental health, cancer psychology, and EFT for couples, and I am certified in Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) for PTSD.

My career journey has also involved working in industry settings at various health technology companies. I believe that my work experience in the corporate sector positions me to empathize with a range of challenges related to clients’ careers and the ongoing project of maintaining work-life balance.

Outside of my work with Summit, I work part-time with the VA Palo Alto Women’s Health Clinic, supporting women veterans experiencing perinatal mental health concerns (e.g., postpartum depression). I also serve on the Board of Directors at Access Institute for Psychological Services, a non-profit mental health clinic in San Francisco.

In my spare time, I love music and spending time in nature.
